Days of our Lives: Brady and Sarah share a mistletoe moment to Xander's chagrin

Days of our Lives supercouple Xander and Sarah, played by Paul Telfer and Linsey Godfrey, are on the outs. This time, it looks like they're never getting back together. Lately, Sarah's been spending time with Brady, complicating matters. What will happen when the two share a mistletoe moment this month?

According to Swoon, Sarah is going to share a mistletoe moment with Brady (Eric Martsolf) this month. No one will be surprised if Xander feels as if his holiday stocking has been stuffed coal!

As viewers know, Sarah called it off with Xander upon learning that her husband had pummeled Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) to within an inch of his life. Xander had done some manipulating to make Sarah think he was innocent. He even got Philip to go along with the ruse. But Sarah just can't trust a man who is capable of such violence, despite Xander being in therapy with Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

Smooches under the mistletoe can run the gamut from playful kisses between friends to passionate embraces that mean so much more. Where will Brady and Sarah's kiss fall under? Even if it's just between friends, Xander is not going to like it. The man is in a tough position, however. If he responds too passionately, Sarah's feelings about ending her relationship with him will be justified. But how can Xander not respond when he's still madly in love with Sarah?

Marlena has an impossible task

Brady could use some holiday cheer, that's for sure. He's seen Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), the mother of their daughter, Rachel (Alice Halsey), go to jail for shooting EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), only to find out that Rachel was the culprit.

On top of that, Rachel tried to make Sarah have an allergic reaction that could have been deadly when she laced Sarah's ice cream with pistachios. Fortunately, Sarah's EpiPen was nearby, and she did not suffer a severe reaction.

It's only natural that Brady would feel somewhat protective of Sarah, as it was his daughter who almost caused her to become ill -- or even worse! Sarah may not be ready to move on to a new relationship. She's not going to turn off her feelings for Xander totally overnight.
