Days of our Lives fan favorites Allison Sweeney and Christie Clark, who play siblings Sami and Carrie, are on their way back to Salem. It's going to be a while before they're seen back on-screen, but Soap Central's got the intel on their return!Allison Sweeney and Christie Clark Are Back View this post on Instagram Instagram PostThe DAYS official Instagram account dropped the news that Clark and Sweeney are coming back to the show. However, due to the show's lengthy production schedule, viewers won't be seeing them on the Peacock drama until June 2027.Check out the reel above that shows Clark and Sweeny back at DAYS shooting their spot in the show's media room. "Getting ready to film a Brady Family Documentary...or Maybe Not," read a caption on the video. "See What's Going Down, June 2027."First, Clark sits down on a chair, and then Sweeney, wearing a suit, appears to Clark's right. The two seem to be at odds, and then we see TV mom/stepmom Deidre Hall (Marlena), who quips in faux frustration, "Some things never change!" Last week, Sweeney and Clark got together off-screen with Kristian Alfonso (ex-Hope). As Clark divides her time between England and San Francisco, it seemed most likely that Clark was visiting Los Angeles, which now makes even more sense as she's back shooting at DAYS! My Sister, My RivalSami and Carrie are often at odds | Image: JPIThe animosity between Carrie and Samantha Gene (AKA "Sami") is legendary. Sweeney arrived on the Salem scene in 1993 and quickly fell for Carrie's boyfriend, Austin (the late Patrick Muldoon; then, Austin Peck).Sami lied, schemed, and manipulated anyone and everyone in her path to win Austin's heart and to get him into bed. Believing that he had fathered Sami's son, Will (played as an adult by Chandler Massey), Austin agreed to marry Sami, which would give Will two parents who were committed to one another. Before the "I do's" could be exchanged, Carried learned that Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) was Will's true biological dad. She rushed to the church and informed Sami that her lies were going to end. She had kept her and Austin apart for too long. Sami attempted to go through with the ceremony anyway, and Carrie promptly decked her! The truth came out, and Carrie and Austin were reunited. Years later, Austin and Carrie returned to Salem. She and Rafe developed romantic feelings for each other, despite his marriage to Sami. During Sami's last appearance, she happily shared that she was engaged and that she was moving forward with her life. Will Sami's new beau also make the scene when she comes back in June 2027?
