Days of our Lives Hot Plots July 13 to 17: EJ's Latest Plot, Lexie' Confession, Stephanie's Big Mistake

Days of our Lives heads into mid-July with a jam-packed EJ-filled week from July 13 to 17, 2026, which is always the way in Salem these days. EJ sure is busy, but so is everyone else as they clean up from EJ's mistakes.

Good News and Bad News For EJ

It appears that EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is still doing everything he can to cover his tracks in the Coriseal mess. He has to make it appear that Holly (Ashley Puzemis) took the drug herself. Despite Holly's protests, not everyone 100% believes her, but Tate (Leo Howard) and Ari (Vico Escorcia) both want to give her the benefit of the doubt.

When Tate finds Coriseal pills in Holly's bag, it's a pretty good bet that EJ had them planted there. EJ thinks he has a win as he paints his former stepdaughter as an addict, but then Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) delivers bad news. It seems the state board wants to revoke EJ's license to own the hospital. Uh-oh, EJ. Sometimes not everything goes your way.

Theo's Fury

Abe's (James Reynolds) deal with EJ to get Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) to quit the CEO job at DiMera eats at Abe's conscience, so he finally tells Theo the truth. After just learning that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) was responsible for Lexie's (Nikki Crawford) brain cancer, Theo can't handle another bomb and takes off to Small Bar.

That is where he finds Stephanie (Abigail Klein), who is on the outs with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) after deleting those voicemails from Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) when she really needed help. The pair gets drunk, which surprises Alex when he walks into his apartment and finds a shirtless Theo passed out on the couch.

Lexie's Angst

Lexie has to tell someone that the Versavix is wearing off and she is dying again, so she chooses everyone's favorite confidante, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), of course. Marlena was one of the first to hear she was heading back to the land of the living, so why not also be one of the first to know she is once again dying.

When Lexie gives Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) surprising news, does she tell her sister the truth about her health? Lexie is furious at EJ for playing God and so is Kristen. Will the sisters team up to bring him down?
