Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) meet with the oncologist this week to discuss how to treat her cancer while pregnant. Chanel already made Johnny promise not to tell her that her life is more important than their baby's, but it will be hard for him to bite his tongue as Chanel is determined to think of the baby first.

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) comes around and understands why Johnny wants to step back from DiMera, but he will try to protect his family legacy by asking Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) to be Johnny's co-captain at the DiMera Enterprises helm. Will Theo accept this offer? Will it be enough to keep Johnny aboard?

Other considerations for Theo and EJ...

When EJ convinced Theo to quit DiMera, he used Lexie (Nikki Crawford) to do it. Surely, Theo's mother wouldn't want him involved with the family business. EJ was right about that, but EJ now has to wonder how long Lexie will be with them.

Rolf (Richard Wharton) informs EJ that one of the mice he experimented on is dead. It might only be a matter of time before Lexie is dead again, as well. Lexie might be learning that the hard way because something just doesn't seem right. She feels light-headed and wonders how long her resurrection will even last.

After Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) meets a young girl in distress in Horton Town Square, she brings the girl to the hospital with Xander (Paul Telfer) by her side and saves the girl's life. This brings her and Xander closer together, which is exactly what Sarah does not want.

She also doesn't want to fantasize about being in bed with Xander, which is exactly what happens. Sarah really wants to be able to move on with Brady (Eric Martsolf), but that will be easier said than done now that she and Xander are under the same roof.
