Days of our Lives Hot Plots June 8 to 12: Danger in Salem with Stephanie's gun play and Lexie's new death sentence

Days of our Lives has a consequential week ahead from June 8 to 12, 2026, as Lexie learns her new possible fate and Stephanie learns that maybe, just maybe, you should listen to your parents.

Stephanie's dumb and dangerous move on Days of our Lives

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is back from China as much of a hot mess as when she left. She doesn't like what she sees between Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), but tries to keep her cool. She didn't think she'd be walking right back into such a mess. Alex and Joy seem to have bonded while she was away.

Stephanie is also still a bundle of nerves, thinking she is in danger at all times. When Joy fiddles around with the front door after nobody answers, a sleeping Stephanie wakes and grabs her gun. She also seems to shoot first and ask questions later, which might very well ruin more than a few lives.

Lexie's second chance foiled?

After learning from Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) that one of the rats he experimented on died, Lexie (Nikki Crawford) is a nervous wreck. She seems to have neurological issues as well, which means her tumor could be returning and the effects of the drug could be wearing off.

Lexie tells Rolf she is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure she can stay with her family, but she'd also be taking a huge risk.

Meanwhile, EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) fears he can be losing the hospital and his grip on DiMera at the same time. Everything is falling apart for him after so much promise and Xander (Paul Telfer) and Gwen (Emily O'Brien) aren't helping.

Rising romance

Friday is a time for new potential couples this week in Salem, as Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad (Conner Floyd) enjoy a family date. They take Thomas and Charlotte to a baseball game in Chicago, which becomes a fun little road trip. Surely, Thomas will approve of Belle more than he approves of Cat.

Trending

Jada (Elia Cantu) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) also grow closer this week and finally decide to confront their growing feelings for one another. Maybe Belle and Shawn are finally moving on with others in a healthy way rather than with the wrong people.
