Days of our Lives October 8: Dante Vitali Arrives in Salem

Days of our Lives has a big episode in store on Thursday. According to spoilers provided by Corday Productions, Sydney is surprised by an unexpected guest, and EJ is under fire again.

Sydney (Sydney Malakeh) is surprised while she is quietly doing some work in the DiMera living room when her boss and future stepfather appears. Dante (Franco Lo Presti) is in Salem and is ready to meet more members of Samantha's family. Sydney seems to have a very close relationship with her mother's fiance and is very happy to see him, but what is Dante's real agenda?

We saw him talking with Dominic Marino, who we now believe is a DiMera and the surprise offspring of Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) — at least for now; the story can evolve. Clearly, Dominic and Dante are both up to something sneaky that involves the DiMera clan, but what could it be?

Meanwhile, Marlena makes a shocking confession to Belle (Martha Madison). Does she tell her daughter that she might have a brother out there named Dominic and Stefano is his father? That would come as quite a shock to John Black's daughter.

EJ and Johnny's Problems

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) will be very interested in meeting Sami's (Alison Sweeney) new fiancé and the man who Sydney now looks up to, but he has some other things on his mind first. Jada (Elia Cantu) has quite a few questions for EJ that stem from her session with Johnny (Carson Boatman) the other night. She doesn't have all the evidence she needs yet, but she is getting there.

Will this question-and-answer session with Jada tip EJ off to the fact that his own son ratted him out to the FBI and the police?

As for Johnny, he and Chanel (Raven Bowens) are prepared for any fallout now that Johnny has come clean with the authorities and his wife. Chanel forces Johnny to make her a promise. Who wants to bet it's something along the lines of never cutting EJ off for good?

And finally, Paulina (Jackee Harry) is glad one daughter is finally doing okay, but she is worried about the other one. She refuses to give up on the idea of Lani (Sal Stowers) being a cop again.
