It’s been a strangely satisfying time lately on Days of our Lives — Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) finally brought baby Tesoro home for good, a rare pocket of peace in a town that usually burns through it fast. Meanwhile, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is strolling through life blissfully unaware that someone (and all signs point to Jeremy (Michael Roark)) tried to stab him on Halloween. Into all that chaos, the show dropped a nostalgia hit on social media — a video of Robert Scott Wilson and Carson Boatman revisiting the wildest, strangest, and most memorable moments from their years in Salem. The chaos, the contacts, and the fire View this post on Instagram Instagram PostDays of our Lives’ official Instagram page wrote, “From 2015 to today💙 Robert Scott Wilson and Carson Boatman chat about this recent decade of Days that continues to redefine the drama, passion, and heart of Salem.” Then the video let them loose.Wilson started, “With Alex, he's definitely done some not great things, but if you really wanna get into the thick of it, we can talk about Ben's bad things… Ben wiped out everybody — killed men, women… killed his midwife after they delivered a baby, only to be redeemed and have a fantastic love story.” It was clear in their faces that the sopy irony of his statement was not lost on them.Days of our Lives’ Boatman followed with his own brand of chaos: “I don’t know if it’s my character, but it was the devil when I was possessed… The devil made me do it.” Wilson cracked up, “You rocked the contacts. They looked awesome.” Boatman groaned back, “Not comfortable — itchy eyes, tight red suits. I wouldn’t fit in those anymore.”Wilson then dove into the Days of our Lives storyline that changed his career: “Ben, Chad [then-Billy Flynn], and Abigail [Kate Mansi]… she lit my legs on fire, burned me, burned all my flesh… and Ben superhuman crawls down the stairs only to get knocked out by Chad.” Wilson added that the whole time, Ben was telling her that he loved her. Boatman practically shouted, “What?!?” before mimicking Ben burning alive. Wilson yelled off-camera for someone to “pull the clip — Mansi absolutely killed it.”Fans Remember Every Wild FrameDays of our Lives' Johnny and Alex. | Image Source: JPIThe comments were a mix of devotion, nostalgia, and pure Salem energy.
