After Sophia's presumed death on Days of our Lives, Kristen DiMera saw the young woman bloodied and wet in the DiMera living room! That nightmare vision turned out to be a hallucination. Now, however, spoilers, provided to Soap Central by the DAYS publicity team, reveal that Sophia's alive -- and Kristen has found her!
Kay's of our Lives Diner
In the weekly spoiler video, we see Sophia wearing a wig, working as a waitress at Kay's Diner, and she's going by the name "Amelia." She starts to take the order from a customer who is hiding behind a Kay's Diner menu! And it's not just any customer -- it's Kristen!
"Hi, welcome to Kay's Diner! My name's Amelia," a woman who very much looks like Sophia says to her customer. "Should I say, 'Sophia,'" Kristen states as she lowers her menu, revealing her identity!
Kristen and Sophia have been at odds over the years, but right now, they have something in common! They'd both like to keep their whereabouts hidden from everyone in Salem!
What Sophia's Return Means
It turns out that Kristen's vision of Sophia being alive in the DiMera living room turned out to be more of a premonition! This isn't the first time that Sophia has tried to pull off a scam. In early 2026, she faked being in a catatonic state to avoid having to face charges related to Holly's drugging.
While in Bayview, Sophia befriended Rachel, and the two became partners-in-crime. Rachel learned that Sophia was faking her condition. Trey's mother coerced Rachel into stealing some money from Brady (Eric Martsolf).
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) got Sophia sprung from Bayview temporarily so she could testify at her son's adoption hearing. Kristen wanted to get back at Sophia for using her daughter in her scheme to get money. To get into Kristen's good graces, Sophia agreed to do Kristen's bidding. She attacked Johnny (Carson Boatman) with pepper spray and a gun; then, she tried to kill him in a gas leak!
Amy (Shi Ne Nielson), Sophia's mother, discovered a fake suicide note that was going to help Sophia fake her death. Then, Kristen struck Sophia in the head with a rock and shoved her body into the river presuambly killing her.
Amy blamed Holly (Ashley Puzemis) for causing Sophia's death by bullying her. Soon after Sophia's "death," Kristen envisioned her showing up at the DiMera mansion. EJ spied Kristen's break from reality and accused her of losing her grip on reality.
