Days of our Lives Spoilers, April 1: Kristen gets her chance to chew out Sophia

Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, April 1, 2026, tease Kristen finding Sophia and letting her wrath break free.

Sophia (Rachel Boyd) realizes she has no choice but to stay in Salem because she has no money and no place to go, but at least Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) is now allowing her to go for walks on her own. Is it during that walk when Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Sophia run into one another? Sophia might want to walk the other way when she sees Kristen coming, but that's because she doesn't know that her secret it out of the bag.

When Kristen gets her moment with Sophia, she lays into the teen for manipulating Rachel for months during their time in Bayview. She set back Rachel's (Lorelei Mote) recovery and now the little girl is back in Bayview, when she hadn't done anything wrong since she came home.

What will Sophia say for herself? Will she have a million excuses for her behavior that Kristen won't buy? We're not sure that Sophia really knows who she is dealing with. Rachel's mother is not as calm and (sometimes) level-headed as Rachel's dad. Kristen is a DiMera and DiMeras do not take kindly to anyone hurting their children or anyone they love.

Meanwhile, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) feel vindicated now that Sophia has been caught in her lies. Do they witness Kristen's takedown of Sophia, something that has been a long time coming?

Despite a thaw in their relationship, Xander (Paul Telfer) still finds it hard to be around Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), but not because he is angry at her. He just wants her back, but is not willing to be vulnerable and say that.

When Sarah and Xander have an encounter on Wednesday, things are harder on Xander than ever. Does that mean that Brady (Eric Martsolf) shows up to interrupt a conversation as he often does? Xander may soon realize that Brady is more competition than he thought in the quest for Sarah's heart. What he doesn't know is that Sarah still has feelings for him.
