Days of our Lives Spoilers August 19: Philip's Ready to Take a Kiriakis Gamble

Days of our Lives presents a consequential Wednesday as the Kiriakis brothers scramble to save their father's fortune. According to the latest spoilers for August 19, 2026, you will also see action in Alamania.

Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) knows that he has to do something fast when Xander (Paul Telfer) receives an offer on the house. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) isn't even in Salem to say goodbye to her beloved home, but Xander doesn't see any other choice but to accept this offer. He discusses the matter with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), who tries to offer advice, but she is just as broken up about the situation as he is.

Philip doesn't tell Sarah and Xander that he is planning his own way to save Titan and the house, but he needs Gabi's (Cherie Jimenez) help. With Xander ready to accept the offer, Philip makes one last appeal to Gabi to help him join that poker game. He needs her last millions for the buy-in, but the payoff can be amazing.

Gabi likes taking chances, but does she really want to gamble away the rest of Stefan's inheritance? Philip seems sure that he can win, but Gabi knows that nothing is a sure thing, especially when it comes to poker. Will she throw caution to the wind or allow the Kiriakis family to lose everything? Something tells us that Gabi and Philip are about to make a huge mistake.

Across the ocean, Leo (Greg Rikaart) remains Dimitri's (Peter Porte) prisoner in Alamania and no amount of fancy clothing or Italian shoes can make Leo want to be there. He just wants to be back in Salem, where he finally feels like he has a home and knows that people care about him.

Dimitri claims to care about Leo, but Leo points out that keeping someone hostage against their will isn't caring or love. It's nothing but controlling and sadistic. Leo asks Dimitri why he would even want to be with someone who very clearly does not want to be with him.
