Days of our Lives Spoilers August 24: Joy and Sorrow as Baby Girl DiMera Gets a Name

Days of our Lives begins the week on a sentimental and bittersweet note. According to spoilers for Monday, August 24, 2026, the Carvers are in mourning while Johnny and Chanel are over the moon with their new baby.

Baby Girl DiMera was born in one room at Salem University Hospital, while Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) died (for a second time) in another room. While Paulina (Jackie Harry) wants to be there to comfort Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews), she also wants to be there for Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) and share in their joy.

Abe and Theo are beside themselves after losing Lexie again when they had only just gotten her back, but they are thankful for the time they had with her. But maybe Johnny and Chanel's baby will bring a little light.

Spoilers say that Johnny and Chanel give their baby a very special name. Do they decide to call her Lexie or Alexandra? Perhaps she will be Alex for short. After all, Lexie was Johnny's aunt and a DiMera. It would bring the family together if Johnny and Chanel can give their baby this meaningful moniker.

EJ's Anger

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) manages to track down Rolf (Richard Wharton), who skipped town with his tail between his legs and didn't do anything to help Lexie. After saying goodbye to his sister, EJ is heartbroken. He knows he played God and didn't get the results he wanted, but he blames Rolf for all of it.

EJ confronts the mad scientist and asks him why he couldn't stick around long enough to do something for his sister. Rolf claims that it was too late and there was nothing he could do. It was a miracle that they were able to bring Lexie back at all.

Despite EJ promising Lexie he would turn his life around and stop lashing out at everyone, EJ finds that to be harder said than done. The only person who can seem to soften him is Cat (AnnaLynne McCord).
