Days of our Lives Spoilers August 26: Stephanie and Theo Turn to Each Other

Days of our Lives presents another strange alliance on Wednesday. According to the latest spoilers for August 26, 2026, Stephanie turns to Theo again. Plus, Abe mourns Lexie and Marlena worries about Belle.

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie's (Abigail Klein) young marriage seems to be in dire straits. Nothing has gone right since the day they took their vows. From the kidnapping and Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) arriving with a baby in tow to Stephanie's trigger-happy finger, everything has been a mess and remains a mess.

Stephanie can't even live in her own home anymore thanks to Joy and Kelsey. Fighting with Alex isn't helping, which means that Stephanie needs a shoulder to lean on and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) has one.

Theo is going through his own emotional turmoil now that he has lost Lexie (Nikki Crawford) again and can use a friend. While Roman (Josh Taylor) is there for Abe (James Reynolds) and helps him through this second loss in one lifetime, Stephanie and Theo lean on one another.

How will Alex feel about this? He already thought it was odd when he came home to find a half-naked Theo sleeping on his couch a few weeks ago.

Cat Wants Answers

After her hypnosis session with Marlena (Deidre Hall), Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is in a panic. She now knows that she told EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) that she was ISA and she can't have him remembering or it could jeopardize her entire mission, plus put her own life in danger.

To that end, Cat has to see what EJ really knows, but she can't come right out and ask him. Instead, she has to use her super spy skills so as not to arouse suspicion. EJ seems to not know anything, but his memories can return at any time. Maybe Cat should be glad that he is focused on the Lexie mess and the Coriseal mess to even be thinking about their time in that Italian clinic.

Speaking of Italy, Belle (Martha Madison) still plans to go there to figure out the mystery of that chess set. That just serves to alarm Marlena (Deidre Hall), who would prefer that Belle just leave well enough alone. But Marlena should know that Belle is indeed John's daughter and can't do that.
