Days of our Lives presents a tense and emotional episode on Thursday. According to the latest spoilers for August 27, 2026, Paulina has words with Johnny and Holly has words with EJ. Plus, Alex tries to surprise Stephanie.
The Truth is Out There
When Paulina (Jackee Harry) realizes that Johnny (Carson Boatman) is keeping a big secret about DiMera Pharmaceuticals from Chanel (Raven Bowens), she urges Johnny to come clean with his wife. He is just not sure he wants to do that to her right now when she just had a baby. She has enough stress, especially since she is going to have to resume chemo soon and has a toddler.
As for EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel), he also has to deal with this Coriseal mess as Holly (Ashley Puzemis) finally confronts him for his attempt at a cover-up. Holly is hurt that she had trusted her former stepfather, but he tried to make it look as if she was using again just to save his reputation and some money.
How will EJ defend the indefensible? What he did was wrong and there is no denying it. But will he just deny doing it? Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was only working with a theory when she told Holly her suspicions. But she still has no proof that EJ did anything. Will EJ manage to snow Holly and make her believe that he is innocent?
Date Night?
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) realizes that he has to do something about his marriage fast. He and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) have barely had any peace since the day they took their vows and now it's all falling apart just a few months later.
While Alex wants to respect Joy's (AlexAnn Hopkins) wishes while she is still in the hospital, he also knows that he has to pay attention to his wife or he may lose her. To that end, he arranges for Bonnie (Judi Evans) to babysit Kelsey so he and Stephanie can have a date night.
