What to expect on Days of our Lives
Chanel (Raven Bowens) is thrilled to be having a new baby, but she can't forget about the baby she just adopted, thinking she may never have her own biological child. To that end, she decides to pay a visit to her adopted baby's bio mom to give her an update on little Trey.
Chanel knows she is taking a chance by visiting Sophia (Rachel Boyd), a young girl who did so much to sabotage her chance to adopt Trey. Sophia is a very disturbed young woman, so this might not go well at all.
She has no idea that Sophia is still furious at her for allegedly ruining her life, at least in Sophia's eyes. To her, everything would have been different if Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel had never opted out of the adoption the first time. Then, she wouldn't have had to leave her baby at a firehouse.
When Chanel gets there, Sophia continues with her mute act, but will he anger toward Chanel give away the game? Sophia had a close call with Holly and needs to learn to control herself more or Bayview will be onto her act.
Jennifer and Chad's final decision
It's finally time for Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Chad (Billy Flynn) to solidify their custody agreement. They have everything ironed out, but just need the lawyers and some papers. Justin (Wally Kurth) and Melinda (Tina Huang) visit the Horton house to get things legally squared away before Jack (Matthew Asford) and Jennifer head back to Boston.
After the lawyers leave, Jennifer and Chad sit down for a heart-to-heart talk. Jennifer tells Chad she will always be there for him if he needs her, but Chad thinks he has this covered. He still feels the sting of Jack and Jennifer trying to take his kids from him for no real reason.

Jennifer understands why Jack feels the way he does, but hopes that they can now put their differences aside. They end their conversation with an embrace, so it appears that they are able to come together for the sake of Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte (Autumn Gendron).
