Here are your Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
What to expect on Days of our Lives
Salem is still ringing in and celebrating the new year on Tuesday, but it won't be as angst-filled a new year as it was for Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart). Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) start the episode with angst and heartache as they keep vigil by Theo's side. The doctors are sure he will wake soon and wonder why he hasn't already.
Abe and Paulina are finally ready to go home for the day when a miracle happens. Theo opens his eyes for the first time since his injury. He is groggy and confused, but it looks like he is on the mend.
Theo will also have to start rethinking his life choices. He wanted to be a part of the DiMera family business, but he is learning that being a DiMera comes with a high cost. The DiMeras are clearly targets of bad actors, and Theo might not be sure that is the kind of life he wants to live.
Paulina also feels guilty because she talked Theo into taking the job, against Abe's better judgment. Paulina wants to find a way to make things up to both Abe and Theo after the disaster in the crypt.
Trouble in paradise
With Dimitri (Peter Porte) back in town, Javi and Leo's new marriage is off to quite the rocky start. Leo is torn and Javi just hopes that Leo chooses him when all is said and done. Leo turns to Marlena (Deidre Hall) for some advice and confides his conflicted feelings to his friend and therapist. Will Marlena have the right advice?
As for Dimitri, he is furious that Gwen (Emily O'Brien) ruined everything he had with Leo just out of petty revenge. He had no idea that Leo thought he had broken up with him and now Leo is married. Dimitri blames Gwen for all of this as the two former spouses face off.

Gwen is still furious over the way Dimitri scammed her into marrying him just to get his hands on his inheritance and is not going to take the slight lying down — even nearly two years later.
