What to expect on Days of our Lives

Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) already got their miracle in another hospital room when Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) finally woke as the new year began. Now, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is looking for her own miracle as she has to make the hardest decision of her life. Going to prison to protect Rachel (Alice Halsey) was a no-brainer (for Kristen, at least), but taking her brother off life support is something she definitely has to think twice about.
The doctors need to know what to do next, so the rest of the DiMera siblings leave it up to Kristen. It appears that Kristen knows what she has to do, so she says goodbye to her brother, with whom she only recently reunited. She didn't expect to have to be the one to conk him over the head with a bone and kill him.
If a miracle happens, Kristen won't have to live with that guilt. Will Kristen get her miracle or will she have to let Peter (Dan Gauthier) go so soon after seeing him again?
Is Xander out of control?

Xander (Paul Telfer) has been doing his best to become a better person and had hoped he'd have time to prove he's changed to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) before she got involved with Brady (Eric Martsolf). Since he seems to be running out of time, Xander is getting desperate, so he ups the animosity with Brady at work.
Xander may be the rightful Titan and Kiriakis heir, but he still doesn't run the show by himself. Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) also has some say and is getting tired of Xander's attitude, and puts his cousin on notice.
Alex does not like the way Xander has been running things and puts his foot down, but will that do any good? Xander certainly doesn't like being told what to do, especially when he thinks he is in charge. Are Alex and Xander about to come to blows or will someone put a stop to their battle fast? Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) might want to step in.
