What to expect on Days of our Lives
Just when Stephanie (Abigail Klein) thinks she couldn't get any happier, she gets quite the letdown from her new fiancé. After showing off her ring to Chad (Billy Flynn) in Horton Town Square, Stephanie is on cloud nine. She has the perfect life, the perfect boyfriend, and even got to tell her ex just how happy she is. What could be better?
Well, maybe a boyfriend who doesn't try to control her life. When Stephanie learns that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) took it upon himself to cancel her book tour, she is absolutely furious. That was not Alex's decision to make. She feels he is being way too overprotective, plus he is now trying to rule and run her life. He even wants her to produce another romance novel, fast.
Stephanie explodes on Alex and unleashes her fury. She is a grown woman who has taken care of herself for years on her own and doesn't need anyone to do it for her. Stephanie wants their relationship and marriage to be an equal partnership, but if Alex wants to make decisions for her, that is not going to work.
DiMera dilemmas
Rolf (Richard Wharton) may have gotten to Peter (Dan Gauthier) and caused a code blue, but it appears that Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) gets things under control. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) does not seem agitated or in mourning when Rafe (Galen Gering) shows up for a little chat. He is sure that Peter holds the answers they are looking for.
Rafe is sure that Peter wasn't working alone when he had the DiMeras kidnapped and held in the crypt, but he is not talking at the moment. Kristen makes a proposal to Rafe. She will help him with Peter, but of course, she wants something in return.

In another hospital room, Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) has a lot of thinking to do about his future. He wanted to be a part of the family business, but now realizes that being a DiMera comes with a price. And that price might be one too high for him to pay.
