What to expect on Days of our Lives
Javi (Al Calderon) tearfully told Leo (Greg Rikaart) that he needed to think long and hard about whether he wanted to truly be married to him. With Dimitri (Peter Porte) back in Salem, Javi had very little faith in the marriage vows they had just exchanged. Leo assured Javi that he loved him, but Javi wouldn't budge and wanted to give Leo some time.
Well, Leo has had enough time. After speaking with Marlena (Deidre Hall), Leo realizes exactly who he wants, and that's Javi. To that end, he heads back home to the Hernandez house and pulls out all the stops to prove to Javi that he loves him and he's the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
It will take some convincing, but it appears that Leo manages to get through to Javi. The pair seals things with a passionate kiss, which is an answer to Gabi's (Cherie Jimenez) prayers. She wanted to see Javi and Leo live happily ever after. While that might not happen because this is a soap and Salem, they will at least be together for now. We're sure that Dimitri won't like that idea at all.
Chanel stands her ground
Johnny (Carson Boatman) accompanies Chanel (Raven Bowens) to her appointment with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to discuss her pregnancy. Johnny still fears that Chanel could be risking her life if she doesn't terminate. Chanel insists that she is going ahead with the pregnancy no matter what and trusts that Sarah will take good care of her. She is not the first woman to have a successful high-risk pregnancy and won't be the last.

When Chanel is finally home and discusses the pregnancy with Paulina (Jackee Harry), she seems to suddenly double over in pain. Is there a problem with the pregnancy already or is this just a false alarm? Early problems may cause Johnny to think he is right. Can Chanel convince Johnny otherwise or will this be just one more obstacle that will put Johnny and Chanel at odds? It certainly has not been an easy road for this pair.
