Days of our Lives presents a dramatic day on Monday when Lexie can't hold things inside any longer. According to the latest spoilers for July 13, Lexie tells the truth while Alex and Stephanie both panic.
The DiMera Truth Is Out There

Lexie (Nikki Crawford) has been trying to enjoy her second chance at life, but doing that when the second chance will soon be over is easier said than done. She doesn't want to hurt her family by telling them that she won't be with them much longer, but she has to talk to someone.
Lexie finally decides to go to Marlena (Deidre Hall) with her feelings. She confides in her old friend and admits that Dr. Rolf's (Richard Wharton) treatment is not working and the effects of the drug are wearing off. Will Marlena have any good advice for Lexie? Will she try to encourage her to tell Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) the truth about her condition?
As for the man who put Lexie in this condition, he continues his usual machinations. This time, EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) steps up his game in his revenge plan against Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Does he once again use Rachel (Lorelei Mote) to do it? Since his niece is set to be released, the little girl will be the perfect target.
Stephanie's Bad Move

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is stunned to see that Joy really did have an emergency when she ignored her call to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). She didn't even bother giving Alex a message that Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) was stuck on the side of the road. When Alex rushes to the hospital to check on his daughter, Stephanie joins him, but Alex needs to see Kelsey without Stephanie there.
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) assures the worried parents that the baby is just fine, but Alex grows confused when Joy tells him that she called and left a message. He swears he never got it, but will he suspect Stephanie?
When Stephanie gets a moment alone with Kayla, she admits that she made sure Alex didn't get the message from Joy, which is what Alex did to her when Kayla was sick almost three years ago. Stephanie knows that she has to tell her husband the truth.
Is Joy the girl who cried wolf? Should Lexie tell her family what is really going on? Sound off in the comments.
