Days of our Lives Spoilers July 31: The Best Laid Plans of Lexie and Kristen Go Awry

Days of our Lives ends the week and the month with an action-packed episode orchestrated by EJ DiMera. According to the latest spoilers for Friday, July 31, 2026, EJ and Kristen share a moment before all hell breaks loose at the Salem Air Field.

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) has no idea that both Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Lexie (Nikki Crawford) know all about his plan to kidnap Kristen and keep her captive on DiMera Island as punishment for what she did to Johnny (Carson Boatman). When Kristen and EJ meet in the DiMera living room before the big kidnapping event, they share a rare few moments of honesty.

If EJ starts to waver about his plan, something tells us that Rita (Maggie Carney) will make sure he doesn't back out. She is on hand as always, running a tight ship.

Kristen later makes her way to the airfield where things don't go quite as planned. A man grabs her and throws her into a cargo area as everything seems to go awry. Did someone get wind of Kristen's plan and try to sabotage it?

Lexie's Goodbye

After a surprise Christmas celebration in July, Lexie prepares to bid farewell to her family once again. They believe she is going to visit Celeste, a woman who hasn't seen her daughter in 15 years and until recently believed she was dead.

Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) have a surprise for Lexie before she goes. They give her one last gift that appears to be a very special necklace that Lexie will treasure for the rest of her life.

She then leaves for the airfield where things seem to go haywire. Like Kristen, Lexie also finds herself unconscious, but did someone put her in that state or did Lexie just pass out? If Lexie lost consciousness on her own, that could be why Kristen's decoy plan doesn't work out.

Kristen didn't think about the fact that her sister was dying and might not make it to where she needed to be. Now, both women may end up on DiMera Island together, which is the last thing Kristen had wanted.
