Days of our Lives Spoilers July 8: Kristen Has to Answer to Brady

Days of our Lives' Kristen finds herself in the hot seat once again on Wednesday. According to the latest spoilers for July 8, 2026, Kristen and Brady are at war, but so are Gabi and Theo.

Brady Wants Answers

Brady (Eric Martsolf) was stunned when Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) insisted that Rachel (Lorelei Mote) had to stay in Bayview to protect her from EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel). Kristen tried to backtrack after telling Brady that he thought EJ was trying to send Rachel a message with his late-night visit, but that didn't stop Brady from ruminating over the remark.

A curious Brady visits the DiMera mansion to try to get answers out of his ex. Why would EJ try sending Kristen a message through Rachel? What beef is going on between Kristen and EJ now. Brady is tired of the endless DiMera squabbles, but also worries that Rachel could really be in danger.

How will Kristen manage to talk her way out of this one? She can't let on that she was the one who killed Sophia (Rachel Boyd) after hiring Sophia to kill Johnny (Carson Boatman). She'd end up in jail again, which is nothing new for Kristen. She has to keep this quiet or she risks her freedom and never seeing her daughter again, but Brady is in private eye mode now, so it will be harder to keep any secrets.

While Brady and Kristen go another round over Rachel, Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) also battle it out. Gabi is tired of trying to make amends with Theo, to no avail. But Theo is tired of having these feelings for Gabi and seeing her trample right over them time and time again. As Gabi and Theo have it out, will any truth bombs be told?

Brady's son also has a fascinating day when Gwen (Emily O'Brien) confides in him. Gwen and Tate (Leo Howard) don't exactly seem like two people who would get along, but perhaps Gwen wants self-defense classes. She is also about to lose her mind after another betrayal and just might need someone to talk to. Tate could be as good a person as any.
