Days of our Lives Spoilers, June 2: Danger brings Sarah and Xander together

Days of our Lives is full of medical drama on Tuesday. According to spoilers for June 2, 2026, Sarah has some big trouble with a patient while Chanel and Johnny have a consequential appointment.

Days of our Lives' Sarah saves a life

When Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) are inevitably arguing in Horton Town Square, which is all they ever do, a mysterious girl comes along who appears to be in distress. Sarah is alarmed when this girl collapses to the floor, but at least Xander is there to help. He steps up and gets the girl to the hospital, where things become more complicated.

The girl seems to be okay, but Sarah is still concerned. And Xander is there for Sarah, as expected. The more Xander shows the softie he is underneath, the more torn Sarah becomes. She wants to move on from this man who has caused her so much heartache and start a life with Brady (Eric Martsolf), but Xander makes that impossible. First, he moved back into the Kiriakis mansion and now he is being the husband she remembered.

Clearly, this girl is meant as a catalyst to bring Sarah and Xander closer together, but will she also become a regular character?

A moment of truth for Johnny and Chanel

Sarah's other special patient has her first appointment with the oncologist after receiving her breast cancer diagnosis. Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) hold their breath and listen to what the doctor says, but things do not sound good.

While the cancer is definitely treatable and has a good survival rate, there are risks involved because of her pregnancy. Chanel is left uneasy after the appointment because she doesn't want to do anything that would harm the baby.

Chanel has a big decision to make, but will her decision alarm Johnny. He promised to support any choice Chanel makes, but will she forgo treatment because of her pregnancy? With a fast-growing tumor, there is little time to waste. Will the doctor propose delivering the baby early, something Chanel would have an objection to?
