Days of our Lives Spoilers, June 8: Sarah and Brady try to solve a mystery

Days of our Lives has a mysterious death on its hands and Sarah is determined to get to the bottom of it. According to the latest spoilers for Monday, June 8, 2026, Sarah takes steps to do just that, while Lexie takes steps to figure out if her second lease on life will last.

Destiny's death keeps weighing on Sarah's (Linsey Godfrey) mind because she can't imagine what she missed. The young woman did not seem high or like a drug seeker, but the evidence points in that direction. Between JJ's (Casey Moss) knowledge of her history and Liam (Hank Northrop) being listed as an emergency contact for her sister, who died of an overdose, Sarah is curious and concerned.

To that end, she enlists Brady (Eric Martsolf) to help her now that he is a private investigator. This can be Brady's first-ever real case for Black Patch. Not only can Brady help Sarah solve this mystery, but he can also be an emotional support.

Sarah was quite shaken up after losing this patient, but was unnerved when Xander's (Paul Telfer) support led to an unusual dream. Sarah would much rather accept Brady's comfort so she doesn't fall back down the Xander rabbit hole.

Lexie wants answers

Lexie (Nikki Crawford) is enjoying her first full day back at life, out and about in Salem. In her new business suit, she visits the old family mansion looking for answers. Lexie reunites with her sister, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), during this visit, but who she is really looking for is Dr. Rolfm (Richard Wharton).

After feeling lightheaded, Lexie wonders if her second chance at life might be coming to a close already. Rolf is the only one who can give her the real answers she's looking for.

Rolf examines Lexie and is not pleased with what he finds. Between Lexie's problems and the dead rat, Rolf is beginning to realize his miracle drug just might offer temporary solutions. The effects seem to wear off and reverse themselves.

Lexie is desperate to hold onto this new life she has, so she asks Rolf if there is anything he can do for her. Is she willing to undergo another experiment?
