Days of our Lives Spoilers June 9: Stephanie's homecoming hits a big snag

Days of our Lives spoilers's Stephanie arrives back in Salem, but things don't go quite as planned when she sees what's been happening at home. According to the latest spoilers for Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Joy is not who Stephanie expects to see.

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) knew that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) would be spending time getting to know his daughter while she was in China, but she didn't think Alex would be with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) as much as he has. Stephanie is in for quite a surprise when she gets home as it appears that Joy is already coming between her and Alex.

Alex will have to reason with Stephanie once again, but it looks like things might go a little haywire when Stephanie decides to take a nap. Alex and Joy are at the Brady Pub with Kelsey when Stephanie's jet lag catches up with her. What she does next is going to cause more problems than she or anyone else could even imagine.

While Stephanie is jealous of Joy and Kelsey, what happened with Owen still weighs heavily on her mind. That PTSD is with her every day and causes extreme paranoia, which could lead Stephanie to do a bad, bad thing. And Joy may never know what hit her.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Xander (Paul Telfer) enjoy some more time in her Salem Inn room, which EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is well aware of. He saw Kristen slip Xander a room key, so he knows exactly what's going on. To that end, he warns Gwen (Emily O'Brien) that her boyfriend might be straying. Does he also tell her that their little experiment with life and death may be going awry?

In the hotel room, Xander laments the Titan money situation. Can Kristen help him out in any way besides asking him to kill EJ for money? Xander isn't willing to do something like that anymore, but he does need to save his company. He may also need to save himself when Gwen starts pounding on the door.
