Days of our Lives Spoilers, March 31: Owen's menacing ways return

Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, tease Owen enjoying a chance to torture people some more. Is Stephanie's nightmare not really over?

Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) may be in police custody, but he is not finished yet. He can't have Stephanie (Abigail Klein), so he remains determined to make her life hell by taunting the people she cares about.

With Jeremy (Michael Roark) out of the hospital, he chooses to confront the man who kept him hostage and nearly got him killed by Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton). Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) seems to be there for this meeting as Owen manages to goad both men and get under their skin. Does Owe taunt Alex with the fact that Jeremy and Stephanie became closer, thanks to the hostage situation?

Stephanie is also released from the hospital and needs someone to talk to. She has just been through a horrifying ordeal, but she doesn't want to burden Jada (Elia Cantu) or her mother with her problems anymore. To that end, Stephanie ends up confiding in Chanel (Raven Bowens).

The two women got to know each other while working on Body and Soul, and Chanel seems to be a more neutral party who can give Stephanie some objective advice on how to handle things.

Sophia's new life

Now that Sophia has checked herself out of Bayview, she is determined to take charge of her life. That means she is not about to let her mother push her around anymore. However, she should know her mother and that exerting her independence won't be easy.

Spoilers say that Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) begs Sophia to stay home. Does that mean Sophia goes home and announces her intention to get her own place? Does she plan to leave Salem? She got a scheming look on her face when Melinda (Tina Huang) mentioned the hearing not going her way. Could Melinda be right about Sophia's next move?

Melinda warned Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel that Sophia couldn't take Trey legally, which made Chanel quite nervous. Does she think that Sophia might try to kidnap Trey to keep him away from his new adoptive parents?
