Days of our Lives' EJ can never seem to play fair, and that doesn't look like it's going to change on the Wednesday, May 13, 2026, episode. According to spoilers, EJ is about to make sure Gwen does not get everything she wants.
Days of our Lives' EJ has a trick up his sleeve
The only reason EJ (Daniel Feiuerriegel) and Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) were able to pull off their miracle with Lexie (Nikki Crawford) was that Gwen (Emily O'Brien) used her own funds to invest in their little experiment. Now, Rolf and EJ have the key to eternal life, as long as a body is frozen before it can decompose in the ground.
That's just what happened to Lexie. She has been reborn because she was kept in a suspended state for the last 15 years. While nobody can be sure that her resurrection will last, for now she is back, and EJ knows he is going to be richer than he ever imagined.
The thought of being that filthy rich is what led Gwen to agree to invest in this project, so she wants her payout. She didn't do all of this for absolutely nothing. When EJ prepares to pull one over on Gwen, is he going to find a loophole that leaves her shut out of the windfall she's been expecting?
EJ is making more enemies by the day. If he adds Gwen to that list, someone may even want to shoot him again. Clearly, he has learned nothing since that incident last year.
Paulina freaks out
Meanwhile, Paulina (Jackee Harry) remains a complete hot mess, wondering what the heck is going to happen to her marriage now. She turns to Marlena (Deidre Hall) for advice and is surprised to learn that Marlena already knew about Lexie, all thanks to Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews).
Will Paulina confess that she also knew what EJ was really up to? If so, will Marlena try to convince Paulina to tell Abe (James Reynolds) the truth? Can Paulina even do it?

Paulina also receives comfort from Chanel (Raven Bowens), who is going through her own troubles as she awaits a biopsy. Will she let her mother know that she may have cancer? Chanel needs all the support she can get, but she also doesn't want pity.
