Days of our Lives Spoilers October 2: Johnny Rats Out EJ, Chanel's Baby Shower Goes Wild

Days of our Lives ends the week with a big day for our favorite new parents. According to spoilers provided by the show for Friday, October 2, 2026, the baked goods at Chanel's baby shower come with a surprise, while Johnny has a surprise of his own for Rafe.

Chanel (Raven Bowens) told Paulina (Jackee Harry) not to throw her baby shower, so Paulina turns right around and throws Chanel a baby shower. Chanel just has to live with it because the guests are now in her living room.

Spoilers say that Sydney (Sydney Malekah) makes a big mistake, albeit an inadvertent one. Does she somehow serve the wrong baked goods? Chanel has items infused with THC to help her with the effects of chemo, but she certainly wouldn't purposely serve them at her party.

Perhaps that is why all the guests are so incredibly happy and can't stop laughing. Even Abe (James Reynolds) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) get in on the act. Chanel and Lani (Sal Stowers) wonder why everyone is laughing so much. Considering Chanel's adventure with edibles in the square last week, do they even have to ask?

Johnny's Big Move

Johnny (Carson Boatman) cannot handle working for his father anymore. He is lying to his wife too much and is in way over his head, so she knows he has to do something about it. He doesn't want to hurt EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel), but Johnny has to think of his young family first. He has a wife and two children now and can't risk going to jail because he has to be there for them.

To that end, Johnny goes to his other father figure and tells Rafe (Galen Gering) everything he knows about EJ's criminal activities. This is indeed the break that Rafe has been waiting for, as he and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) have been investigating EJ for over a year now. Can Rafe do anything with the information Johnny gives him right away, or does Johnny give him a launch point?
