Days of our Lives' Sophia makes a major move on Tuesday. According to spoilers from Corday Productions for October 20, 2026, Sophia seeks out Amy for a tender reunion. Plus, Joy's move to the Kiriakis mansion might not go as smoothly as she wants.
Another Mother and Child Reunion

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) reunited with Rachel (Lorelei Mote) on Monday after doing her best to get Sophia (Rachel Boyd) to reunite with her mother on Friday. Sophia was against the idea, but Kristen made a good argument from a mother's point of view. It's painful for a mother to be apart from their child.
Maybe seeing Johnny (Carson Boatman) with Trey brought that point home for Sophia as she watched her own son with his adoptive father. She finds Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) at the makeshift grave her mother had made for her and calls out Amy's name.
Amy is crying and can't believe that Sophia is standing there before her. Does she think she is seeing a ghost at first? Or will she declare that she was right all along in believing that Sophia was out there somewhere? Is this Sophia's first step in taking back her life?
The Problem With Joy

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) thinks she has it made. She has moved into a mansion with her baby and is in the lap of luxury. She even has a nanny and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) thinks she can't walk, so he wants to take care of her. This is all she could have wanted, except she has to stay in a wheelchair in order to achieve her goals.
She also has to stay out of Bonnie's (Judi Evans) way. But Bonnie can tell that Joy is angling for something and that something is a someone. She knows that Joy is the one who really misses Alex and wants to cry like a baby.
Meanwhile, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) can't seem to let go of her (correct) suspicions that Joy is faking her paralysis. Alex still doesn't think so, but Stephanie makes a good argument. Alex might have to consider what Stephanie is saying and put Joy to the test.
Who will catch Joy first? Are you glad the team of Kristen and Sophia is back? Sound off in the comments.
