Days of our Lives Spoilers October 23: Life and Death Moments for Sarah and Xander

Days of our Lives ends the week with danger on tap. According to the latest spoilers for Corday Productions for Friday, October 23, 2026, Sarah and Xander take a risk, Johnny calls for help, and Kayla puts Joy to the test.

George's Lab

While Steve (Stephen Nichols) lies in an unconscious heap across from his house after being tased, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) take the next step and break into George's (Michael Rose) lab to get his hands on that laptop. But George is also there to do the same, so a confrontation is on its way.

George orders Sarah to put down the laptop, but she is not about to give up the one thing that could clear her good name and save her career. So, George pulls out a gun and tries to force the situation. That's when all heck breaks loose and danger lurks.

Xander looks like he's down for the count as Sarah panics. Johnny (Carson Boatman) is also in a panic cause he heard the commotion when he was on the phone with Steve and knows something is terribly wrong. Will Johnny get the cops to find Steve before it's too late?

Joy's Legs

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) made quite a good argument in favor of the "Joy is Faking It" Theory and now has Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) rethinking things. They know that Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) can prepare for any tests she knows about, but can she fake it when she isn't given any notice? That's the big question.

Stephanie thinks the answer to that question is no, which is why Kayla decides to give Joy some routine tests on the fly. Joy will be freaked out, but can she get to those muscle relaxers in time to skew the results?

When Stephanie and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) get troubling news, is it that Joy is indeed faking it or does Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) slip up? Will he tell them that Joy is taking muscle relaxers, which would give away the game for Joy? They might also get troubling news about Kelsey. Either way, Joy may have a lot of explaining to do.
