It's the moment of truth for Days of our Lives' Johnny and EJ when the father and son come face to face for the first time in weeks. According to the latest spoilers from Corday Productions for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, EJ and Johnny have it out. Plus, Alex gives his wife some very surprising news.
DiMera vs. DiMera

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) has been trying to get a hold of Johnny (Carson Boatman) for weeks, in a case of be careful what you wish for. On Wednesday, EJ has his son right where he wants him, but it does not go well at all.
EJ and Johnny have it out in an epic showdown that results in EJ throwing things at Stefano's portrait above the mantle. EJ realizes he is not going to be able to coerce his son into doing his dirty work anymore. In fact, Johnny is just about done. He knew he was taking a legal risk when going to the police, but he did it anyway.
Johnny is tired of his father's schemes and machinations, which invariably hurt innocent people. Look at what has happened to Xander (Paul Telfer) thanks to EJ's handiwork. EJ is used to being able to talk himself out of any situation, but it doesn't work this time. Johnny is done and EJ now needs to watch his back. The police have their leads and EJ's house of cards could come tumbling down.
Guess What, Stephanie?

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) has quite a surprise in store for Stephanie (Abigail Klein) when he tells her that Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) is on the mend. Just like that, she can suddenly feel her legs again. Isn't that absolutely amazing news?
Stephanie has suspected all along that Joy had been faking things, so will she think she is faking a recovery just to get herself out of a mess of her own making? Alex seems to trust Joy, but Stephanie always knows exactly what Joy is up to.
Joy may even have her sights set on someone else now when she makes plans with Tate (Leo Howard). Is she about to get her claws into another taken man or does she want to use Tate to make Alex jealous?
Is Joy up to her old tricks? Do you want to see EJ in jail? Sound off in the comments.
