Days of our Lives Spoilers October 5: Johnny's Moment of Truth, Joy's Scheming Future

Days of our Lives presents a dramatic Monday when Johnny has to face what he has done. According to spoilers provided by the network for October 5, 2026, Johnny fesses up and Joy gets some big news.

Chanel's (Raven Bowens) baby shower ended on a somber note when Johnny (Carson Boatman) called his wife to tell her where he was. She seemed surprised. On Monday, Chanel supports Johnny through the decision he just made.

Is he at the Salem PD or Rafe's (Galen Gering) house or FBI office? Rafe promised to protect Johnny, but he is implicated in his father's many crimes. Chanel knew Johnny was trying to fix a mess of EJ's (Daniel Feuerriegel) making, but now she learns just how deep this has gone.

Chanel promises to be there by Johnny's side through all of this and prays he does not end up behind bars. Chanel knew that getting involved with EJ again was a mistake, but she is proud of her husband for doing the right thing.

Meanwhile, EJ has no idea what is coming as every plan he has seems to be coming apart at the seams. First, the Kiriakis brothers thwarted him and now he is going to learn that he may lose his son forever.

Joy's Future

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) seems to have milked her hospital stay for all it's worth and she might have to take care of her own child again soon. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) has big news about Joy's future on Monday, so in all likelihood, an allegedly paralyzed Joy is going home. That means Joy will have to have help and Kayla will learn that she hasn't even told her family about her condition.

How will Joy turn this latest news to her advantage and manage to get Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) to take care of her and Kelsey? Surely, she has a plan in mind.

While Joy continues to scheme, Alex arranges a special surprise for his poor, neglected wife. Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has been trying to be the bigger person through all of this, so she needs a romantic surprise. Will Joy's latest news ruin their day?
