Days of our Lives Spoilers October 7: EJ Confronts Rita About the Dominic Marino Mystery

Days of our Lives' EJ is on the warpath again as he demands answers about a possible sibling. According to spoilers provided by the show for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, EJ looks to Rita and Joy looks to fool more people, but it won't be as easy as she thinks.

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) was stunned when he walked in his front door last week and heard Rita (Maggie Carney) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) arguing about Dominic Marino. Rita had sworn to EJ that she knew very little about the man who had bought the Kiriakis mansion, but now, Marlena of all people, was in his living room arguing with his assistant about Marino.

Not only that, but Marlena mentioned that he could be another DiMera offspring and she could be his mother. EJ never imagined he could have yet another sibling out there, but why, when he has had so many other siblings pop up through the years?

EJ confronts Rita and demands answers. It's clear that Rita has been hiding something and withholding information. In fact, Rita seems to be running the whole show, with EJ in the dark. Will Rita tell EJ just enough to keep him satisfied or will she spill all?

Joy's Future Unfolds

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) is ready to leave the hospital and fake a paralyzed life so that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) will take care of her and she can pretend she is living the 50s sitcom life. So far, her plan has been working wonderfully, but it may be about to hit a snag.

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) has a perfect idea for Joy and suggests that she work with Tate (Leo Howard) to get her muscles moving again. Tate can put her on a therapy plan that would work and set Joy on a tentative road to recovery.

Joy has to find a way to get out of that one because she can't have Sarah and Tate discovering that she is perfectly fine and can walk anywhere she pleases. Joy is quite the actress and has everyone fooled so far. If she ends up in a session with Tate, will she just take more muscle relaxers to get through it?
