Days of our Lives begins the new month with new faces and new surprises. According to spoilers for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Holly's school life gets more interesting. Plus, the Price and Carver clans deal with changes.
Mysterious Newcomer Alert

In Horton Town Square, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) introduces Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to a new classmate, who seems very intrigued by Holly and who she is. When Holly tells this new classmate her name, he pays particular attention to her last name. Does he know her from somewhere? Could he have a connection to her father?
The newcomer's name is Mason Whitfield and not much is known about him. He is played by Brandon Butler, who once played Zack Brady in dream and heaven sequences. Now, he goes to Salem University and could give Tate (Leo Howard) a run for his money.
Holly has always been the studious one, while Tate has dropped out of college to be a fitness instructor. If Holly finds a new boy to study with, Tate may find he is the odd man out. Tate and Holly could use a bit of a shakeup, so this could be it.
Moving On

Lexie's (Nikki Crawford) death has hit Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) hard, as they pick up the pieces of something they never even expected six months ago. Lani (Sal Stowers) is there to support Abe and tells him that he will always be her dad and he will always be family no matter what.
Paulina (Jackee Harry) is not sure what to do and turns to Marlena (Deidre Hall) for advice. She wants to be there for Abe, but she is also hurt at how she was treated in favor of Lexie. This has been a hard time for her and there's a lot to deal with. Can she and Abe really go back to how things were before EJ (Daniel Feuerrigel) decided to play God and resurrect the dead?
As for Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens), they get good news for a change. Do they learn that Olivia has had no ill effects from the chemo and has been given a clean bill of health?
Are Tate and Holly endgame? Can Abe and Paulina pick up where they left off? Share your thoughts in the comments.
