Days of our Lives Spoilers September 2: Alex Struggles to Save His Marriage

Days of our Lives brings Joy and heartache as we head into midweek. According to the latest spoilers for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Alex does his best to salvage what is left of his marriage, Joy fantastizes about a different kind if life. Plus, the daddy-daughter dance is set to begin.

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) remains in the hospital dreaming of a new kind of life that doesn't seem to be in the cards for her. She can see Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) carrying her over the threshold so they can be a family with Kelsey, but is it Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) who snaps her out of it? Philip confronts Joy about her feelings for Alex and what her ultimate goal is.

Philip has known Joy her entire life, thanks to his relationship with Chloe. He can tell she is not being on the up and up and thinks that she needs to cut it out. Alex and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) are married and Stephanie is who Alex wants, whether Joy likes it or not.

Meanwhile, Alex is determined to make things up to Stephanie, so he tries to talk things out after their plans for a whole day together went awry. Spoilers say that Stephanie and Alex find common ground, but Alex still doesn't know that Stephanie spent the night with a distraught Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews), although nothing actually happened.

Dancing Time...and EJ

The Kiriakis clan has not moved out yet, so Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), Xander (Paul Telfer), and Victoria are all together at the mansion to get ready for the big daddy-daughter dance we have heard so much about. Victoria has even been SORAS'd in time to go. That adorable little girl is out of the stroller and in her formal best to do some twirling for her daddy before the big event at the Bistro.

While Xander admires Victoria's supreme dancing skills, Sarah and Brady (Eric Martsolf) get together and discuss the EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) situation. Both remain suspicious, especially after learning what happened to Holly. Someone tried to steal her necklace, but was it EJ or do they have a new mystery on their hands?
