Days of our Lives Spoilers September 22: Holly Demands Answers From Mason

Days of our Lives' Holly wants answers on Tuesday, but will she get them? According to the latest spoilers for September 22, 2026, Holly finally confronts Mason. Plus, Xander and Philip have some explaining to do.

All About Sophia?

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) can't imagine why this new boy at Salem University seems to hate her so much when she had never met him before. She never did anything to this young man, yet he has been nasty to her and avoids her like the plague. Now, Ari (Vico Escorcia) has told her that Mason (Brandon Butler) blames Holly for someone's death. Holly is sure she knows who it is.

Holly tracks Mason down in Horton Town Square and asks Mason if he really thinks she is responsible for Sophia's (Rachel Boyd) death. Mason admits that he does partially blame Holly. He has been working for the mental health crisis hotline after losing a friend to suicide and this is a very sensitive topic for him. He thinks Holly's words contributed to Sophia taking her own life.

If only someone out there knew the whole truth. Sophia is the one who set Holly up to make it look as if she prompted Sophia to jump into the river. For all we know, Sophia is alive out there somewhere.

Maggie Wants Answers

While Holly demands answers from Mason, her grandmother wants to know how Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) managed to get his hands on enough cash to save Titan and the house. When Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) finds out that Philip took a huge gamble (quite literally) that paid off in spades, she will take her stepsons to task. Philip knows that gambling can cause a spiral and Maggie can't believe he did such a thing.

Too bad Philip's text didn't go through because the house is sold. Perhaps there is another mansion and estate they can buy.

Meanwhile, Maggie might have to worry about Sarah now, too. She finds herself in legal trouble at the hospital. No doubt that EJ (Daniel Feuerreigel) is behind this, so Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) comes to her employee's defense. This Coriseal mess is getting more complicated by the day, but Steve and Brady are still on the case.
