Days of our Lives Spoilers September 28: Stunned Marlena Pleads With Steve

Days of our Lives' Marlena has to deal with the shock of her life on Monday. According to spoilers for September 28, 2026, she has a request for Steve. Plus, Sarah's problems are just beginning.

Marlena (Deidre Hall) gets the shock of her life when she learns she may have actually had a child with Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), her mortal enemy and the man who had tortured her and her family for decades. The birth certificate names her as Dominic Marino's mother, while Stefano is his father.

Surely, this has to be some sort of mistake. Maybe it is a forgery? She has memories of being on Stefano's island with Roman and a child named Dominic, but she has no recollection of having a child during her time there.

Marlena begs Steve (Stephen Nichols) to keep this information a secret. She doesn't want anyone to know the truth just yet, if it is even the truth. They need to get to the bottom of things before word gets out. Stefano has played so many tricks in the past that they have to make sure this is not another one. Marlena can't imagine that she has another child out there and Stefano, of all people, is the father.

It's all hands on deck to save Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) from EJ's (Daniel Feuerriegel) machinations. Brady (Eric Martsolf) is already on board with getting to the bottom of that altered test result. When Xander (Paul Telfer) learns of the problem, he is more determined than Brady to get to the bottom of it to save his ex-wife.

Xander is downright outraged that EJ would do something like this, which is something Xander would have done at one time, but not to his precious Sarah. Nobody will ever hurt Sarah and get away with it in Xander's eyes.

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) is up to her old tricks on Monday, but her latest plan hits an unexpected snag. Does she have trouble getting the muscle relaxers that her father sent her? She is certainly enjoying causing trouble for Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein), which has Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) all confused because he is falling for Stephanie and has to ask Paulina (Jackee Harry) for some advice.
