Days of our Lives Spoilers September 29: Xander Goes After EJ in Dramatic Confrontation

Days of our Lives' Xander is on the warpath on Tuesday. According to spoilers for September 29, 2026, EJ had better watch out. Plus, Johnny is on a mission and Cat has a new plan.

Xander (Paul Telfer) is not about to sit idly by and allow EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) to ruin Sarah's (Linsey Godfrey) career with this ridiculous lawsuit. He heads straight to the DiMera mansion to give EJ a piece of his mind, while EJ remains as cocky as ever. EJ will deny any wrongdoing, but he wouldn't be lying. It was Rita (Maggie Carney) who did EJ's dirty work for him without him even asking.

Xander is tired of EJ always seeming to get the upper hand. His family managed to pay off the loan and save Titan, but now this lawsuit comes into play. It's just one thing after another when it comes to EJ.

Cat (AnnyLynne McCord) is also determined to get to the bottom of whatever EJ is doing, but now he doesn't seem to trust her at all, so she needs a new plan. All those months of cultivating a relationship have gone down the tube because she decided to be a little honest and tell a half-truth.

Cat miscalculated, so she has regrouped and has a new idea. When she tells Rafe (Galen Gering) what she has planned for EJ now, will he try to stop her? It's not like he has had any success in the past.

Johnny's New Goal

Johnny (Carson Boatman) is determined to get out from under EJ's thumb and right the wrongs he has committed on behalf of his father, but that will be easier said than done. EJ has a pull on him and he always seems to give in, but Sydney (Sydney Malakeh) has tried to give him the courage to fight back.

Johnny realizes just how deep he's gotten into EJ's world when he takes his first steps to try to extricate himself. Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) managed to do it, but Theo hadn't gotten his hands as dirty quite as quickly as Johnny has. Who will Johnny turn to? Might he give Rafe the break he has been looking for?
