Days of our Lives Spoilers September 30: Holly's Guilt Takes Over as Tate Meets Mason

Days of our Lives offers an emotional day for Holly Jonas on Wednesday. According to spoilers provided by Corday Productions for September 30, 2026, Tate meets someone new, Holly is distraught, and Lani may find a new direction in life.

Guilty Feelings

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) has tried not to blame herself for Sophia's (Rachel Boyd) alleged death, but that is easier said than done when others blamed her. First, Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) filed some ridiculous lawsuit and now her classmate thinks she is responsible. Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) has told Holly that her words truly hurt Sophia, which makes Holly wonder if she did lead Sophia to take her life.

Of course, it was all an act and Sophia did not take her life. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) allegedly did, but Sophia could also be alive out there somewhere sending Holly creepy text messages.

On Wednesday, Tate (Leo Howard) meets the boy who has been giving his girlfriend a hard time over Sophia and it does not go very well. Tate and Mason are bound to spar, considering that Tate also hurt Sophia and always defends Holly.

A Future for Lani?

Lani (Sal Stowers) is still a woman without direction in life, but her loved ones want to give her some. With the twins in school, Lani needs a focus and something to occupy her time, so at least Leo (Greg Rikaart) can give her one for now.

Both Lani and a guilty Holly appear on Leo's podcast to discuss the mugging outside the Brady Pub. Leo paints Lani as a heroine, but Lani remains humble as Leo makes the incident sound more than what it actually was.

After the podcast, Eli (Lamon Archey) is on hand and tries to encourage his wife to think about her future. Paulina (Jackee Harry) had already offered to pull some strings to get Lani a pardon so she can be a cop again. Maybe Lani should take Paulina up on that offer.

Perhaps Lani has a future in media and that is what this podcast thing was all about. Is Salem about to enter even more of the modern era where anyone can become a journalist and influencer and get their own show?
