Days of our Lives Spoilers September 4: Chad and Belle's Italy Trip Already Goes Awry

Days of our Lives ends the week with EJ causing trouble because what else is new? According to spoilers for Friday, September 4, 2026, the DiMeras find themselves with troubles typically caused by a DiMera.

The last thing Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad (Conner Floyd) expected as they toasted to their big Italy trip was for EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) to show up and announce that he was going with them. It would be so much fun, and they could all learn about the chess set that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) bequeathed to John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) together.

Chad and Belle are not happy to have their trip interrupted by the likes of EJ, but there isn't really much they could do about it. Of course, danger also lurks as someone follows the threesome around. Will that someone approach them with another clue or do they have to find a clue themselves?

Who else will they run into in Italy? Are Sydney (Sydney Malakeh) and Sami (Alison Sweeney) still there with Sami's new fiancé, Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti)?

Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) settle into being the parents of two kids under two, but that doesn't mean that DiMera troubles don't plague them. Chanel is sure that Johnny is getting in too deep with his father again and is worried about his loyalties. Will Johnny end up getting himself in trouble? Will he tell Chanel how many things he is now hiding, all because of his father?

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) has been hiding her feelings and finally pours them out to Tate (Leo Howard). It's all been so much for her the last few months. Every time things start to go right for her, everything goes wrong again and Holly doesn't even know what to do at this point. Does she feel she needs a fresh start? Can Tate even help? Are Holly and Tate both at a crossroads due to this Coriseal and arsenic mess?

Rita (Maggie Carney) hopes to cover up that mess the best she can. That is why Devlin St. John (John Oliver) is now in a pod on ice. When Rita once again goes rogue and doesn't follow orders, does she place George O'Halloran in a pod as well?
