Days of our Lives Spoilers September 8: Stefano's Ring Ends Up on the Wrong Hand

Days of our Lives has Stefano on the brain from beyond the grave on Tuesday. According to spoilers for September 8, 2026, Stefano's missing ring turns up, EJ is still looking for it, Belle and Chad find romance, and Leo goes digging.

Rita Gone Rogue? Italian Adventures?

It was clear that Rita (Maggie Carney) has an agenda of her own when she locked Devlin St. John in a pod, gave EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) some memory-erasing serum, and then later lied to EJ that she had not found Stefano's ring.

On Tuesday, that ring ends up on a mysterious someone's hand, but whose hand and how does it get there? Is it actually on Rita's hand, as she channels Stefano and becomes meaner than EJ or does she hand it off to someone else.

Rita seems to know more about the Kiriakis estate sale than she is letting on. Is she working with the man who bought the mansion and did she give him the ring? Or did the ring end up with whoever is trying to control the machinations in Italy.

Speaking of Italy, Chad (Conner Floyd) and Belle (Martha Madison) have a very good time on their trip. They may be there on the pretense of digging for clues, but they also find time to take their relationship to the next level.

Back in Salem...

With all that romance and DiMera ring mystery going on in Italy, there is still intrigue happening in Salem. Leo's (Greg Rikaart) main investigative purpose is getting to the bottom of the counterfeit purse ring, but does that have something to do with his latest questions for Gwen (Emily O'Brien)? Since he believes EJ is behind all of it and Gwen was working with EJ for months, then it may all tie together.

Meanwhile, spoilers say that Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) exchange favors. With Gabi heading off to Monte Carlo with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), will Kate want Gabi to make sure that Philip doesn't get himself into any extra trouble during this poker game?

With Gabi also wanting a favor from Kate, will she ask her to keep her eyes and ears open at DiMera Enterprises? Maybe she can learn something about the counterfeit purse division...
