Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) has been using her health problems and hospitalization to cause problems for Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein). In fact, she's been milking it for all it's worth. Alex is now furious with Joy for demanding that Stephanie stay 10 feet away from Kelsey for the next year, but he might have to be nice to her anyway.

Spoilers say that Joy faces another frightening setback, which means that she will have to lean on Alex for support. And Alex will be there because he is a nice guy. What could be wrong with Joy this time that she breaks down in tears? Does she learn that her surgery might not be as successful as she had hoped?

As for Stephanie, she is trying to keep it together while her very new marriage falls apart. She confides her feelings in Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), who encourages Stephanie to fight for her marriage and not let Joy's problems get in the way.

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) have no idea that Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) are off in Monte Carlo, hoping to win enough money in a poker game to save Titan and the Kiriakis mansion, so Sarah and Xander are still packing for the move neither one of them wants to make.

They also don't want to leave each other, but Sarah refuses to admit that. She thinks the best thing for her is to forge ahead with this relationship with Brady (Eric Martsolf) no matter what. So, Sarah and Xander get the boxes ready for the move and discuss what might have been.

As each item goes into a box, it's clearer than ever that this is not what either one of them wants, but sometimes when two people are stubborn, endgame comes a little later.

As for Brady, he meets with Steve (Stephen Nichols) to go over the Coriseal investigation. Does Steve find anything to incriminate EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel)?

Is Joy becoming annoying? Are Sarah and Xander way too stubborn? Sound off in the comments.
