Days of our Lives is going to be steaming up the screen this summer! The show has released a sizzling preview video, teasing all kinds of drama for the Brady, Horton, Kiriakis, Carver, and DiMera clans!

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is a man on a mission! "Father built an empire, and I must carry his vision forward," he rages. Back-from-the-dead Lexie (Nikki Crawford) is making up for lost time during her time away from Salem. "The DiMera name and the company could be for something better," she says.

Stefano's grandson, Johnny (Carson Boatman), adds, "We have an opportunity to leave a different legacy for our kids than the one that was left for us."

Expect tensions between the DiMera and Kiriakis families to continue. "EJ found out we used DiMera money to make the loan payments," sighs Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). "We'll lose everything."

"We have to stand together as one," Kate (Lauren Koslow) insists. "If we don't, we go down."

Lexie is going to have to show Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) what she's made of. "Come on, it's me," Kristen tells Lexie when she walks into the DiMera living room. "You don't need to hide anything."

"If I thought I had to hide something, I wouldn't have come through the living room," Lexie counters.

Romance in the air

There's always lots of romance in the air on DAYS. "I am so grateful," Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) says. Adds Eli (Lamon Archey) to Lani (Sal Stowers): "Why not surprise my wife with an afternoon of romance?"

"Just hoping I can give you a proper kiss now," Chad (Conner Floyd) tells Belle (Martha Madison).

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) profess their love for one another while Xander (Paul Telfer) is starting to believe that Sarah is falling for him again. Marlena (Deidre Hall) cautions him that he may be deluding himself that Sarah wants to get back together.

"Xarah" isn't the only couple facing a challenge. Philip is not about to forgive Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) anytime soon. "Money not only can't buy you love, it also can't fix what you broke," Philip says to her.

Medical drama

Chanel (Raven Bowens), who has breast cancer, is fighting for both her life and her unborn child's life. "I need to know about the effects on my baby," the concerned mother says. "I'm scared."

Speaking of good health, EJ may want to watch his back around Gwen (Emily O'Brien). "You stabbed me in the back," she reminds him sternly. "Now, I'm returning the favor."

Abe (James Reynolds) orders EJ out of Lexie's hospital room. "You get the hell out of here," he shouts.

"It just feels like there's no place in Salem is safe right now," Holly (Ashley Puzemis) fearfully declares.
