Days of our Lives Spoilers VIDEO Sneak Peek, February 2-6: The DiMeras bury Stefano, Jeremy and Liam under fire

What to expect on Days of our Lives

It's been 10 years since we have seen Stefano DiMera (the late Joseph Mascolo) alive in Salem. In 2016, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) shot and allegedly killed her worst enemy, blaming him for Bo's (Peter Reckell) alleged death. She went to jail for the crime, but in 2017, word came that Stefano was alive, so she was set free.

We never really knew what happened to him after that, but now his death is finally confirmed because his remains were found in the crypt. The DiMera siblings gather to finally bury the Phoenix, and hope he does not rise again.

When Johnny (Carson Boatman) attends his grandfather's funeral, he tells EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) the good news about the baby he and Chanel (Raven Bowens) are having. EJ declares that the child will be a DiMera. Johnny reminds EJ that the son he already has is also a DiMera. With EJ declaring that he plans to carry on the family legacy, will he be as accepting of adoptive children as Stefano was?

Elsewhere in the DiMera mansion, Gwen (Emily O'Brien) puts her plan into motion using Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). Vivian assures Gwen that everything is going quite smoothly.

Liam and Jeremy on defense

After gaining evidence that Liam (Hank Northrop) is the one who physically kidnapped Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and placed him in the crypt, Rafe (Galen Gering) comes calling and questions the young man. Liam agrees to cooperate and even identifies a police sketch of the person who hired him. The person will not seem familiar to the audience at all. Liam seems to be okay with the law for now, but will Abe (James Reynolds) be able to forgive him for what Liam did to his son?

JJ (Casey Moss) also puts his badge to work and questions Jeremy (Michael Roark) about whether he is stalking Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and sending those threatening letters. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Jeremy go on defense, but JJ claims there is credible evidence that Jeremy is the culprit. Will JJ believe his cousin? Will anyone besides Julie give Jeremy the benefit of the doubt?
