Days of our Lives heads into July with a big week ahead, as EJ learns that a long-forgotten problem might be coming back to haunt him. EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) can't stop thinking of that batch of contaminated coral that ended up buried on Smith Island. He thought that problem was gone for good, but the more poking around that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) do, the more he worries this can all come to light. EJ goes to Johnny (Carson Boatman) with his concerns, but grows especially worried when he finds something amiss by the Horton Cabin.

The Carvers and the Prices come together to celebrate Trey's birthday next week, but they don't have an easy time of it. Chanel (Raven Bowens) starts her chemotherapy and is not feeling up to a party, while Lexie (Nikki Crawford) continues to keep her own secret from Abe (James Reynolds). She is not about to let them know she is taking more of Dr. Rolf's (Richard Wharton) drug.

Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) are quite confused next week as they try to figure out who paid Titan's loan. Later in the week, the brothers are blindsided. Do they learn who did it and what that person wants from them?
