The DiMera clan always has something going on and most of the time, it centers around EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel). Next week, Lexie (Nikki Crawford) has some questions for her brother. Namely, how the heck is she even here? While she is happy to reclaim her life, she has something to say to her brother about playing God.

EJ learns he can't have it all because Tony (Thaao Penghlis) is in charge of the family business. To that end, EJ tells Johnny (Carson Boatman) about Tony's future plans for DiMera. Johnny also has to contend with Chanel's (Raven Bowens) news next week, as her biopsy results come in. Does Chanel have breast cancer?

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) get a major shock when Xander (Paul Telfer) announces he is moving back to the Kiriakis mansion. She begs him to reconsider, while also turning to Brady (Eric Martsolf) for advice. However, Brady and Belle (Marth Madison) make a surprising discovery next week as they comfort Marlena (Deidre Hall) on the anniversary of John's (the late Drake Hogestyn) death.
