DAYS Spoilers August 3: Lexie's Great Escape Goes All Wrong

Days of our Lives begins August with a consequential day for the DiMera clan. According to spoilers for Monday, August 3, 2026, neither Kristen nor Lexie end up where they want to be.

EJ's Discovery

When EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Rita (Maggie Carney) arrive at the airfield to ensure Kristen's (Stacy Haiduk) passage to DiMera Island goes smoothly, they are surprised to find Lexie (Nikki Crawford) there, unconscious. EJ and Rita revive Lexie and realize that she was in cahoots with Kristen, who now has to find a way to escape.

EJ brings Lexie back to the DiMera mansion, where she inevitably explains her plight. She told Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) that she was off to visit Celeste because she didn't want them to have to watch her die for a second time in one lifetime. She is still determined to spare them the suffering brought on by EJ deciding to play God.

Will EJ have a solution for his sister since he was the one who caused this entire mess? He could allow her to live out her second set of final days at the DiMera mansion and tell Abe and Theo where she really is. That would be taking a chance, but somehow EJ has to make things right.

When Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) arrives at the mansion, she seems surprised by the scene she sees. Is EJ up to something else?

Kate (Lauren Koslow) is surprised when Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) gives her the news that Titan has been saved, all thanks to Gabi's (Cherie Jimenez) generosity. Kate is not quite sure what to make of this news and is also not sure if she can trust Gabi. Philip's ex has been awfully fickle with her offer and both fear she could yank it again.

Chad (Conner Floyd) and Belle (Martha Madison) continue their investigation into that chess set and plan their trip to Italy. Marlena (Deidre Hall) is not happy about what they are doing, so she might be happy when they have to put things on hold.

Cat comes into play in Chad and Belle's story as well when she runs into them in Horton Town Square after a meeting with Rafe (Galen Gering). She tries to hide her feelings as she is determined to focus on bringing down EJ.
