DAYS Spoilers July 28: EJ's Visit to Holly Sets Off Alarms

Days of our Lives' Holly has a big day on Tuesday with multiple visitors. According to the latest spoilers for Tuesday, July 28, 2026, EJ pays a visit to Holly to cover his tracks. Plus, Kate tries to make amends with Roman.

EJ Plays His Part

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) has to be the doting former stepfather to Holly (Ashley Puzemis) to avert any suspicion from him. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), Brady (Eric Martsolf), and Xander (Paul Telfer) already think he and DiMera Pharmaceuticals is behind the Smith Island arsenic mess, so he has to throw them off. There is no way anyone can know that his company buried arsenic-laced Coriseal on Smith Island.

To that end, he shows up at Holly's hospital room to try to be as kind as possible to her. Holly needs to know that EJ is always there, even if he wants to have her sent to rehab for no real reason. He will hire her lawyer and her friend, just as he had promised.

However, when Sarah arrives, she is not happy to see EJ there because she knows what kind of game he is playing. Sarah kicks EJ out, but he thinks he accomplished his mission anyway. Tate (Leo Howard) also visits Holly and the two make amends since he no longer believes she was lying and using.

As for EJ, he also has words with Marlena (Deidre Hall), who urges her former son-in-law to listen to his conscience. Does EJ still even have a conscience at this point?

Kate's Mea Culpa

After a visit from Marlena during which they clear the air, Kate (Lauren Koslow) decides it's time she takes control of her marriage. If she and Marlena could make amends after what she did to Johnny (Carson Boatman), then surely Roman (Josh Taylor) can forgive her as well.

So, Kate seeks out Roman at the Brady Pub and apologizes for helping Xander set up Johnny to publish Bonnie's (Judi Evans) plagiarized book. Can Roman forgive Kate after she had also lied to his face and denied all wrongdoing multiple times? It wasn't just her trick, but it was the way she had lied that caused Roman to kick her out.
