Days of our Lives heads into September with a full week of reveals, revelations, and recreation as that daddy-daughter dance finally takes place. According to the latest spoilers video for August 31 to September 4, 2026, you'll also see Joy's active fantasy life and Cat with a big admission for EJ.

The Daddy-Daughter Dance

After weeks on end of hearing about this big Salem Daddy-Daughter dance, the big night has finally arrived. And it doesn't even appear to be any soapy drama. Of course, "appear" could be the operative word. When Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) gets Victoria ready for the dance, she shares a close moment with Xander (Paul Telfer) as Victoria shows off her twirling skills.

Brady (Eric Martsolf) is there with Rachel (Lorelei Mote), which can always make things dramatic because we all know Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) could be lurking somewhere near. And Chad (Conner Floyd) is getting ready for his trip to Italy with Belle (Martha Madison), but he first has to make Charlotte happy. The next morning, he and Belle are ready to get on the plane, but they might end up with a big surprise.

Over the Threshold

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) remains in a hospital bed hoping her surgery goes well, but is she in a drug-induced state when she has quite the fantasy about Alex (Robert Scott Wilson)?

Joy dreams of Alex carrying her over the threshold 1950s sitcom style, as she dons a cute little white dress and small veil. Joy is certainly smitten with Alex and thinks being the mother of his child will make all her dreams come true, but she is not counting on Stephanie (Abigail Klein) fighting for her marriage.

Strange Encounters

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) is surprised to meet a new young man in the square who seems to know who she is. She introduces herself to the man who Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is talking to and he is intrigued when she tells him her name. Her last name in particular seems to ring a bell. Does Daniel have any other offspring out there that we may not know about?

And finally, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) has a confession to make to EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel). She tells him that their time together in that Italian clinic was not a coincidence. What else does she remember?
