DAYS Video Preview October 12 to 16: Sophia's Return, EJ's Reveal, Joy's Dirty Tricks

Days of our Lives has quite a week in store, as schemes take flight. According to the latest spoilers video for October 12 to 16, 2026, there's a new-old arrival in Salem, EJ has news for Chad, and Joy does not bring joy to Stephanie's life.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) finds Sophia (Rachel Boyd) in a Kentucky diner and apparently convinces her to return to Salem. She is seen in Horton Town Square looking nervous as Johnny brushes past her.

Why did Sophia stay away for so long and what does Kristen do to convince her to return? If Johnny (Carson Boatman) saw Sophia, he might fear for his life, considering that she was last seen trying to kill him. Sophia could end up back in Bayview if someone catches her alive. She never should have been released to begin with and proceeded to commit crazy acts post-hospitalization.

Amy would certainly be happy to know her daughter is alive, but Sophia seems to want to keep her presence a secret for now.

Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) undergoes hypnosis again and opens up to Marlena (Deidre Hall) about what has been going on with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel). She quit her job, but that was all an act and part of her other job as an ISA agent. Marlena thinks there can be more to it and asks Cat if she could be falling in love with EJ.

As for EJ, he has some news for Chad (Conner Floyd). His brother has been trying to learn whatever he can about Dominic Marino, but EJ has some answers. EJ tells Chad that it's quite possible that Dominic is their brother, and the offspring of Stefano and Marlena Evans. (That would mean they share a sibling with Belle and Sami.)

Joy's Tricks

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) continues to try to fool everyone into believing that she is paralyzed. She covers for herself when Stephanie (Abigail Klein) enters the apartment and then proceeds to take Stephanie to task.

Stephanie claims that she was just trying to help and looks at Joy suspiciously when Joy chastises Stephanie for being near Kelsey. It didn't even take her an hour to violate their agreement, Joy claims. How long can she continue this ruse?
