Days of our Lives presents quite a week as it's baby time for Chanel. According to spoilers for August 17 to 21, 2026, Chanel really is in labor, so its show time for her and Johnny. Plus, the Alamanian adventure comes to an end and Joy continues to manipulate Alex.
Baby Time for 'Janel'
It's a big week for our favorite young couple as their baby makes his or her arrival. It's been a rough go of it for Chanel (Raven Bowens), with a pregnancy she wanted, but one her husband feared. Developing breast cancer toward the end was a twist Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel never expected.
Her prognosis looks good once she can give birth and get proper treatment. Unforunately, it looks like a very difficult labor for Chanel, as things take a turn later in the week.
Gwen (Emily O'Brien) agrees to cooperate with the authorities now that she is back in Salem, but also gets a few surprises. Tate (Leo Howard) is happier to see her than she ever expected, but she is happy to see Leo. It looks like Dimitri (Peter Porte) realizes forcing love is not the answer and lets Leo go aftr Leo gives him the hard truth. Gwen and Leo share a surprising and tender reunion when they run into one another outside their respective Salem Inn rooms.
Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) is still in the hospital next week and still puts on a sad face to gain Alex's (Robert Scott Wilson) sympathy. She is not happy to see the flowers from Stephanie (Abigail Klein), but she doesn't tell Alex that. However, Stephanie is not going to like what she sees when Alex doesn't know she is looking.
